 Our site is located just north of the Tomales Bay Resort in Inverness.  We have sit-on-top kayaks, closed deck kayaks, and Stand-Up Paddleboards (SUP) available for rent! Click HERE for directions.  

We recommend Reservations and we accept walk-ins from 10am- 1pm. Walk-in rentals are subject to availability. All activities are weather dependent. Winter hours may vary. Kayak rentals are for 2 hours, 4 hours, or full day.  See Rentals for pricing. SUPs are rented per hour. Gear is included with rental price, youth & adult wetsuits available for sit-on-top kayaks & SUPs.  Dry-bags are available, first-come-first-served.
KIDS under 100lbs must be paired with an adult in a double kayak. Kayaking with children under the age of 5 years is not recommended. 13+ are eligible for SUP rentals. Our proximity to the National Seashore beaches and use of motorboat support allows us to cater your private events in style. This three hour paddle is a great introduction to Tomales Bay by kayak.  Our experienced guides will launch the tour directly from our Inverness beach location and lead you along the rugged coastline of the forested regions of Tomales State Park.  Through the calm waters you may catch a glimpse of a leopard shark or bat ray hiding in the eel grass meadows or a curious harbor seal swimming nearby.  Our guides can share natural and cultural history of the Point Reyes Region as well as help identify the many birds and wildlife that inhabit this beautiful estuary.

 Giacomini Wetlands is located in the southern end of Tomales Bay.  This completely restored wetlands is a haven for birders and kayakers alike.  We will gather at the White House Pool parking lot, get geared up with your guide and launch our kayaks into the peaceful Lagunitas Creek, where we will paddle up and into the wetlands, keeping our eyes out for marine life and migratory birds. Our guides will provide you with the rich natural and cultural history of the region as they lead you through this magnificent restoration site, a real treasure of Point Reyes.

 This 3 hour paddle is a great introduction to Tomales Bay kayaking.  Starting from our Marshall site located on the east side about mid-point of the bay, we launch directly from our beach into the pristine waters.  We paddle across the bay headed towards the Point Reyes National Seashore, where we can explore the intricate coves and sandy beaches dispersed along the peninsula. Our outstanding guides can provide natural and cultural history of this iconic region and help you identify the many marine species and birds that make up Tomales Bay's abundant biodiversity.

Coasting along the calm evening waters, we will explore the inlets and sandy shores of the renown Point Reyes National Seashore.  Our experienced guides can provide natural & cultural history of the region as well as demonstrate proper kayaking techniques.  A perfect weekend escape or romantic evening to be shared.
